PROJECT ZERO 17: THE SCOUT
The Scout is based on a 2015 Royal Enfield Continental GT. The project started off with ideas of chopping the front fender and replacing the headlight. As we all know, you never stop there.
The Scout rolls on old school Firestone Deluxe champion tires. The bike got a new face lift, with upgraded LED headlights and custom made mounts for headlights, speedo and turn signals, that minimalizes the clutter on the front end. The handle bar was lowered for a better racer riding position, a K&N Air filter and vent filter were installed to boost the performance.
The rear frame loops with custom license plate brackets and brake lights, custom seat pan, with all electrics and the battery tucked under the seat for a clean naked look on the bike.
The engine covers have been hand polished and brushed to give the worn rugged look. The engine cylinders have been painted black, the exhaust was wrapped and the all the components are blacked out. Custom made, stainless steel CR chain guard, blacked out rims and hubs & suspension complement each other on the blacked and brushed finish combination.
The Fuel tank was stripped of its factory paint and the tin was given a brushed finish, prior to Nickel plating and mat lacquering. The Scout in its overall finish is a “Knight in a Nickel Armor”
