Stepping out - Four days at NOFILTERDXB

At Cafe Rider, we've always believed that our permanent space in Al Quoz has always been the biggest draw for both our regulars and new customers alike. Our warehouse is set up just the way we want it and aside from the obvious brand benefits, we've grown rather fond of the four walls and a roof that we call home. 

That said, when an email dropped into our inbox a couple months ago, inviting us to participate in a new, revamped version of the Dubai Motor Show, we didn't take long in saying "yes!". 

Fast forward to the evening of November 23rd, we were fully set up at the Dubai Harbour for NOFILTERDXB, a lifestyle automotive-themed show that highlighted the best that Dubai has to offer. Our Brass Balls Bobber and BMW R80 were on display, we had set up our coffee machine and grill and our seating area was ready for customers. The show opened on Wednesday afternoon and we were there, waiting for attendees... 

...and we didn't have to wait long! Wednesday and Thursday disappeared in a blur of coffees, music and meeting new people. The weekend was expected to bring large crowds and it did not disappoint. Throw in some picture-perfect sunsets, a selection of cool custom cars, art, and a stunning Marina skyline and you have a basic idea of the environment we were working in. 

All said and done, we were really happy to have left the Cafe and gotten an opportunity to interact with the community-at-large. It was a great experience, especially meeting so many of you and you can be sure we'll be participating in many more events like this in the future, some sooner than you expect!
