Our newest offering, Kenya Wachuri AA, is more than just a coffee; it’s a testament to the dedication of the Wachuri Farmer’s Co-operative Society. Located in the Tetu sub-county of Nyeri County, Kenya, this single wet mill co-operative was established in January 2000. Its mission is to unite and represent over 750 smallholder farmers, including men, women, and youth, who collectively cultivate the vibrant cherries that contribute to this exceptional AA-grade washed coffee.

Nestled between Mount Kenya and the Aberdare Ranges, Wachuri thrives in fertile volcanic soils, consistent rainfall, and stable temperatures, creating ideal conditions for cultivating iconic Kenyan coffee varietals like SL28, SL34, Batian, and Ruiru 11. With meticulous care, farmers harvest and process cherries at the Wachuri wet mill, producing a coffee that embodies the region’s rich terroir and the dedication of its community.
