Cafe Rider's 8th Birthday Bash

8 years. 

It's a really long time and a blink of an eye, simultaneously. Either way, we weren't going to miss the opportunity to celebrate Cafe Rider's 8th Birthday - so we threw a party. 

Not just any party either. 

Our alleyway was cleaned, cleaned again, dressed, lit and then made ready for a Birthday Bash like we'd never had before. Music, food, bikes and good vibes were the order of the evening, which was scheduled to start at 6pm on Saturday, March 5th. The word was on the street, so we waited (impatiently, we might add)... 

By 6pm the alleyway was full of friends, BBQ, cool bikes and very good vibes. Del from Casa De Maquinas, Kristen and Michael from ADV Moto Skillz and the Here-O Donuts team were on hand as partners for what turned into one of the best evenings the Cafe has had in a while. 

As we took a quick second to catch our breath halfway through the evening, we couldn't help but smile. The camaraderie of the community that calls Cafe Rider their "local cafe" was palpable in every conversation in that alleyway. Throw in a bit of BBQ smoke, the sound of bikes, soft light and a classic rock soundtrack and you have a pretty good idea of what we were looking at. 

A heartfelt "Thank You" to everyone who came to the Birthday Bash and all our well-wishers. We couldn't have reached this point without you all, so here's to the future. May it be bright!
