Caffeine Cruise: Heading to Hatta

Few events capture the spirit of the Cafe Rider better than our signature Caffeine Cruise. It remains an integral part of our calendar and is a fantastic opportunity to see the community come together and ride. 

We'd been hearing the same question for a while - "When is the next Caffeine Cruise?" It got us planning... 

November 6th was circled on the calendar and we got to work. The day itself began early, with the clock striking 6 am to a large group of bikes parked outside the Cafe. Inside, the riders enjoyed their morning coffee, before a quick safety briefing. Tanks brimmed, coffee finished and helmets on. It was time to ride! 

We rode out of the city with a beautiful sunrise ahead of us, before turning onto the the Sharjah-Khorfakkan road. Our destination was Hatta, by way of Fili. 

Around 8:30 or so, we rolled into the main parking lot at the Hatta Dam. As always, coffee and snacks were served as the riders mingled and exchanged notes about their ride. Aside from one fuel stop, we had enjoyed a beautiful mix of the UAE's scenery including red desert dunes, farms and mountains. 

After a long summer (it seems to get longer every year, doesn't it?), it was a fantastic morning catching up with our regulars while making new friends. It's all about the people, and it's why we organize these Cruises in the first place. We'll see you on the next one!
