New packaging & new El Salvador coffee launched
With our 10th anniversary around the corner, we've taken the opportunity to re-examine the Cafe with a fresh perspective...
Our logo was at the top of the list of things we wanted to update, essentially streamlining it for branding purposes, without losing any of its identity. We made the change last year and it has since been incorporated into virtually every aspect of the Cafe.
The Cafe Rider Roastery has been growing from strength to strength and with the benefit of hindsight, we're very proud of to see how far it's come. Our coffee has undergone a process of constant evolution and improvement, so as to meet and exceed expectations within the world of specialty grade beans. We're proud of what's inside the coffee bag, so why not update the outside?
That question kickstarted a process of rebranding, which culminated in a newly- designed package for our beans. Pick up any of our coffee bags and you'll now be able to trace a subtle motif of a motorcycle throughout the four faces, harking back to our motorcycle roots.
It's not "all form, no function" either. Turn the bag over and the bottom now has a dedicated section explaining how long the coffee's flavors will remain fresh. Furthermore, as part of our constant efforts to reduce our carbon footprint, these bags are completely recyclable.
New bags, old coffee? Not so fast...
We've also taken this opportunity to launch our new El Salvador - Finca Santa Matilda beans. Hailing from the Apaneca-Ilamatepec region, these medium-roast beans are imbued with notes of vanilla, blood orange and raisins with a silky, sweet aftertaste.
You can now find the El Salvador Finca Santa Matilda on our shelves, or online here, in our new coffee bags.
